Shirakawa go farmhouse stay feb

Was looking several weeks before my trip to Japan for typical farmhouse stay in February but seemed impossible. Is it really that hard to find such experience these days?

I learned there were bus trips there during light up but no stay in Shirakawa go area but Toyama for instance. Is it worth just to see the light up among dozens of tourists?

At least this tour (10000 yen including the observation deck access) has already booked out.

The village announced "To avoid overcrowded, this event will be held based on the complete advance reservation system and the event admission ticket system.

As far as I know this is the first attempt to avoid crowds.
