Kenrokuen Garden in April

Do we have to purchase tickets for the Kenrokuen GardenS in advance ?
2024 cherry Blossom dates in Kanazawa . We will be there around April 11th . Thank you !

we will be arriving April 12 to 13 . do we need to purchase tickets in advance?
Also some of us are over 65. do we get free admission during month of April.

Entry cost is pretty trivial (320 yen), but over 65 gets free entry. There is a combo ticket for the castle as well.
