Toyama vs Kanazawa

Trying to end a trip by car after Shirakawa-Go. Not looking to go up alpine route.

Which would you suggest has more to see the city and better food in general? Toyama or Kanazawa? The consideration is that we previously did tour the chubu area in some of the most rustic towns.

Kanazawa. Since you plan to drive, you can take the Hakusan Shirakawa-gō White Road (assuming you're visiting during the warmer months).

You can buy Loop bus 1.day pass= 800 yen
Kanazawa light up bus 1 day pass= 500 yen
JR machi bus 1 way = 100 yen
Hokutetsu bus 1 day pass = 500 yen
Kenrokuen shuttle 1 day pass =500 yen

Kanazawa definitely has more to see.
