Cherry blossom between 12th to 21st April

Hi, I am in Japan from 12th to 21st April, Where should I go to experience Sakura in full bloom? Yoshino, Fuji or Hirosaki park? Or I should plan another place?

If the season progresses as the meterologists forecast, then it should be good around the central Tohoku Region (Miyagi, Yamagata, southern Iwate, Aizu).

I did Tohoku and Hokkaido last year from April 10-26, but it was an exceptionally early year. I went to the major spots mentioned on this forum: Aizu, Kitakami, Kakunodate, Hirosaki, Hakodate, Sapporo.

For this year and your dates, Fukushima/Sendai area and Kitakami will be good. Definitely not Hokkaido. Consider heading into the cities in the Central Alps - Nagano, Matsumoto, Kanazawa, Takayama.
Mt Fuji will be nice too.

Hi, would Hirosaki park be too early for full bloom around 18-20th April ? If yes then Should I just stick to Kitakmi , Fuji and Sendai ? Should I skip Yoshino if I am reaching 13th April ?
