winter tyers

planning to drive a car for Tokyo Hakone and from there to Alps :Matsumoto , Kamikochi, Takayama, Kiso valley, Shirkawa-go and drop the cat at Kanazawa between 17 April to 21 April. do i need to use winter tiers?

The only place where there is a chance to encounter snow that late - apart from some freak storm, which rarely happen - is around Hirayu (the highest point between Matsumoto and Takayama), but even there the probability of snow on the road is rather low.
