Hi to everyone!

I hope you can help me out to get the address / map of a Catholic church in Osaka which does English or Tagalog mass. Thanks!

Kitano Catholic Church, Nakatsu 2006/5/2 13:23
Hi Miguel. I think there are about5 or 6 churches around the city, but I only know the location of one of them, the Kitano church. It is 3 minutes walk from exit 4 of the Nakatsu subway station on the Midosuji line. English mass is at 9 am on Sundays, and they have services in Tagalog too. Here is a link to a map I found online: http://www.aatokyo.org/location.php?locat_ID=23 phone 06-6371-4060. Cheers!

I just arrived to Osaka two weeks ago, i dont know why all answers here are all wrong, none of them are about catholic church.

There are a couple of catholic churches in osaka. there is one in suminoe close to the subway station of the blue line, around nanba, and some others around the center of the city

there is a cathedral by osaka castle that celebrates english mass at 2 pm sunday

Thanks for d superb advice, Darren! I managed to attend Sunday's 9am English mass and it was lovely. D cathedral is really beautiful..! To help others navigate to d church easier, here's some additional directions:

1. After exit 4 of Nakatsu station,, u will see Starbucks on d left.
2. Walk past Starbucks (still on ur left) and immediately turn left at d corner (you will see family mart on your left) 3. At the T junction, turn right
4. Sacra Famiglia Church will b on your left :)

God bless u!

Wanted to update the directions to the xhurch. There is no longer a starbucks outside of Nakatsu station exit 4. New directions would be
1. Take a left upon exiting exit 4.
2. Turn left at Family Mart.
3. Go straight until you reach Sacra Famiglia. It is just a 2 minute walk from the station.

It is right across a huge hotel--Hotel Hankyu International Osaka. It might be easier to locate this hotel on a map, and then cross the street to reach the church.

Re: Is there a Catholic Church in Osaka? 2015/1/9 13:17
Hi everyone!

I was looking for a Catholic Church in the Osaka area through Google, and this was what I found:

カトリック大阪大司教区

Using streetview, the statue of the Blessed Lady can be seen at the front of the building, so I'm guessing it really is a Catholic Church.

It's located just a block south of Osaka Castle.

Will travel to Osaka mid-2015.

If you come to Osaka until March, Mary's Cathedral is under construction.
(Tamatukuri church,玉造教会)
They change the time small cathedral, Mass takes place.
April after construction is complete.
