Overnight bus Tokyo(Nikko)šKyoto 2009/6/11 10:59
I'm planning to travel Japan in this summer.

In the start of planning, I planned to buy JR Pass.

But, Cities which I'm going to visit are Tokyo, Nikko, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe.

So Taking overnight bus, and buying 1-day-pass in each city can be cheaper than buying JR Pass.

So I'm considering taking overnight bus from Tokyo (exactly, from Nikko) to Kyoto.

How do you think about that?

Is it annoying to buy 1-day-pass for each city?

And is it discomfort to sleep deeply in overnight bus?

Please let me know your information ^^

Thank you.

How do you think about that?

It is a good idea if you want to save money. There is no bus from Nikko, but many from Tokyo.

Is it annoying to buy 1-day-pass for each city?

No. But it can be more expensive than using prepaid cards, e.g. Suica, Icoca or Surutto Kansai Cards.

And is it discomfort to sleep deeply in overnight bus?

Yes, some people feel discomfort. For others it is no problem. Depends on the person.
