What else is there in Furano 2009/7/1
Furano
Apart from farm Tomita, what else is there to do/see in Furano (we will have a rental car).
Any restaurant recommendations in and around Furano, we love any kind of Japanese food.

Some basics:

Several famous Japanese TV dramas were shot around Furano, as well.

Daisetsuzan National Park and Biei are not far away, either.

Thanks to Uji and William5 2009/7/2
I now have quite a full itinerary for Furano. I am guessing there is not much else to see/ do in Biei, just a scenic drive through ?

grape juice factory 2009/8/24
Is Gakuden Station the nearest station to the Grape Juice Factory? http://mymapofjapan.com/transit/stations/panoramio/1478... mention that grape factory is only 600m from Gakuden Station. Perhaps straight line distance? How reliable is distance (and photo) on http://mymapofjapan.com?

But http://www.furano-kankou.com/english/hyperlinks/FF-Fura... mention it is 3km from Furano Station. Why is Gakuden station not mentioned here?
