Dear visitor, if you know the answer to this question, please post it. Thank you! March 2010 trip - cherry blossom 2009/7/27 Hi I'm planning to go to Japan next year in March. My sister's graduation is on March 11th in Tokyo and I'm going to go to her graduation ceremony. My other reason of visiting Japan is also to see the Cherry blossom. I'm just wondering though, is early March too early to see the cherry blossoms? I'm only planning to stay for about 2 weeks. Do you think I'll be able to see the cherry blossom? If so, where is the best place to go around this time to catch the viewing of Cherry Blossoms? Small numbers of early blooming cherry tree varieties can be seen in some parks, though, e.g. Shinjuku Gyoen. It is just a few trees, but can also be enjoyable.
