JR Pass - Hakutaka fees

I have read about the additional fee (1450) for using a JR Pass and taking the Hakutaka Ltd Exp. I will have a Green Car JR Pass. Is the additional fee more than since I will be traveling in a green car?

Yes, you will also have to pay the additional green car fee for the non-JR section. I think it is an additional 500 yen.
