How to reach Okinawa Aquarium with Ferry 2009/8/3 Okinawa Hello I'm going to visit Japan for the 1st time towards the end of this month. I (and my friends) am considering to visit the Aquarium of Okinawa. I've read from the official site, and around the web, only infos about reaching the aquarium from Naha's airport. But I've seen that the flight prices from Kagoshima are pretty expensive, so I started looking for some Ferry solution infos: price and departures/arrives times/landing places. Do you have any infos about it? thanks very much in advance! by MadWork   ... 2009/8/5 There are daily boats from Naha Port to Motobu Port, from where it is still a few kilometers to the aquarium. by Uji rate this post as useful Ferry from Kagoshima 2009/8/5 I just checked the Marix webpage (in Japanese) http://www.marix-line.co.jp/index.htm It looks like the lowest fare from Kagoshima to Motobu is 26,600 yen leaving Kagoshima at 6:00 PM arriving Motobu at 4:30 PM the next day. That's a one-way price. On the other hand, you could use the Yokoso http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2364.html and get a round trip airfare to Naha for the price of a one-way ferry ride.
