I've seen that this pass is not valid for shinkansen Tsubame but I am not sure if this pass can be used with the Ltd express relay Tsubame ( From Kumamoto to Hakata )and others shinkansen such as Shinkansen Kodama (From Kokura to Hakata )or other Shinkensen.

The only exclusion on the northern pass is the shinkansen which is operated by JR West. It is valid on all other JR trains within the defined zone.
