Using JR Kobe line from Osaka to go to Kobe, would the "Nada" station on this line be an appropriate place to get off for the breweries area? The link on this site recommends Sumiyoshi station on Hanshin railways. Thanks

Nada is nowhere near the sake district. Sumiyoshi Station along the Hanshin Line is closest (just a few steps). If you prefer to travel by JR, JR Sumiyoshi Station is the closest, about a 20 minute walk from the sake district.

Thanks Uji, as always. I was just going by the "Nada" name; and we will be using JR. Ts: that link is brilliant: thank you SO much. The Japanese owner of our local izakaya here in Melbourne is a Sake master and has given us an introduction to a few breweries to visit: can locate them all now: thank you again
