Gion Hatanaka Maiko Performance

Is the dinner and maiko performance recommended? It is very expensive so just wondering if anyone has been there and whether they would recommend it. Are there any similar experiences in Kyoto (I know about Gion Corner)?

Gion Corner will be nice but more touristy than Gion Hatanaka's Maiko Performance though the costs are also different. You also might want to think about one more Geisha experience and contact Kyoto Sights and Nights

Thanks Ryokans, I have come across that tour before. I guess I am looking for a less touristy experiecne.

I am interested in Gion Hatanaka but for that price it would want to be amazing. Has anyone been there?
