Hakodate to Oshamabe night train 2010/2/27 12:08
I will be using the Hiroshima 10000 yen pass for 5 days, and was wondering if you have to book the night train (going both ways), or can you just turn up?
Does it cost anything to book it, and how would you go about doing it?
Also I couldn't find the dates when this pass can be used on the website...

Thanks,

James

Hiroshima? Do you mean Hokkaido? 10,000 yen for 5 days? What pass are you refering to?

Only unreserved seats on the Hamanasu night train can be used with the pass. Unreserved means that you cannot book any seats, but that you just show up and hope that there are still seats available in the unreserved car.

Also I couldn't find the dates when this pass can be used on the website...

In spring 2010, it can be used from March 1 to April 11. It is on sale until April 7.
