Narita Airport to Hakodate

Hi, I will be going to Japan in this Jul & I'd like to travel to Hakodate on the first day of arrival(Land at Narita on 16 Jul at 2pm). Can anyone advise me if it can be done? Noted that I will be using JR Pass. Thx.

If you can get the 4.06pm Narita express to Tokyo, you will be able to get the connections to get to Hakodate by 1am.
Look at www.hyperdia.com for the changes.
Make sure you select to exclude aeroplanes and private rail.

Thanks for your advice. However, i'm curious if i will need to pay an extra charge? I suppose it would be the night train to reach Hakodate at 1am.

No, there is no extra charge. The train from Aomori to Hakodate, which arrives in Hakodate at 1am, is a night train called "Hamanasu", but Japan Rail Pass holders can use seats on the Hamanasu without paying a supplement. Only when using a berth, there would be a supplement fee.
