Narita NIA to Shibuya Hostel 2010/5/6 13:39
I want to know the best route for a first time visitor to get to my hostel. I think it is safe to give the address on here since I have not stated when I will be arriving and I trust you guys for the most part :)

I want to get to Shibuya Cozy House 2-5-6,Jingumae, Tokyo, Japan 150-0001 from Narita Airport.
I have already google mapped it but not sure if I should completely trust google maps.
Should I take a limousine bus to Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu, and walk to Shibuya station then to Gaienmae station -(closest)?

Or should I just take narita express to shinjuku to shibuya to Gaienmae station?

Are all these subways easy to travel for English speakers?

I am sorry this is so complex, I am freaking out because I have never used a subway system or train system even where I live!

Thank you thank you thank you to anyone who is even going to try to comprehend this!

taxi is easy 2010/5/6 14:44
Hi,I'm guessing taxi ride to the address is easiest and quickest. For another $10 or less, you'll be able to do door-to-door from Excel Hotel Tokyu. You do not need to tip cabbie in Japan.Good luck!

So it will be easy to find a taxi outside the airport? Also if its possible-how much do you think that will cost?

Thank you very much!

I dont think you need to take a taxi. 2010/5/7 02:01
It takes 7min from Gaienmae stn(Exit#3) to your hostel on foot and it is just above 7-11.

cheap and easy routes to Gaienmae stn.
NRT--(KeiseiLine 1000yen)--Keisei Ueno--(walk 3min)--Metro&JR Ueno--(GinzaLine 190yen)--Gaienmae.
or
NRT--(JR AirportNarita 1450yen)--Shinbashi--(GinzaLine 160yen)--Gaienmae

Don't take a taxi 2010/5/7 04:28
You should not even consider taking a taxi from Narita to Tokyo. It would be very expensive (http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2021.html)

I think xinteng827 is suggesting you take a taxi from the Excel Hotel Tokyu, not from the airport, as a taxi from Narita Airport to Shibuya would cost around 20,000 yen.
