The last day of my JR-Pass will bring me into Nikko (coming from Matsumoto). It seems that all deals for Nikko have to be bought in Tokyo?

Can I get any pass or special deal in Nikko that covers sightseeing/transport and the train ride to Tokyo?

Once you get to JR Nikko station, walk up a few min. to Tobu Nikko station where the tourist info. desk will give you all need to know re: day bus pass, hotel/ryokan, etc.

There are a 2-day passes for buses in the Nikko region available in Nikko. And there are combination tickets that combine admission into the main sights. The train ride back into Tokyo is cheap enough:
