JR from Tokyo to Sapporo 2010/5/18 00:11
i would like to travel from tokyo to sapporo by jr and i understand that there is a way from tokyo by taking the hayate train to hachinohe and then transferring to hakodate and then transferring again to reach sapporo as from this page:

can i travel this way at night as well? i understand the sleeper trains are more costly as i need to top up additional.
