Which shukubo is in the picture? 2010/6/9 17:00
Please help me, which shukubo is shown in the lowest picture? the picture is of a beautiful garden area at night, it is under the ''temple lodgings'' , Koyasan Travel, Mount Koya. ive searched everywhere but can not figure out which one it is! help?

For an "authentic" experience, I recommend to stay in the old part of the temple as opposed to the new wing, which, in my opinion, is too nice for a shukubo. It feels more like a standard ryokan room (with private toilet and TV) than a shukubo, while the old part looks very nice, although rooms there seem to have no locks (just fusuma screens) and no private toilets.
