OK, sounds like a stupid question, but I am trying to arrange the best time to move around in the christmas new year period and I have a little bit of flexibility with the departure date (where I will be travelling either Takayama or Kanazawa to Kansai), which I can change from 2 Jan to the 3rd Jan if that is better. I understand that usually the 28th December to the 2nd Jan are very busy with domestic tourism. This year the 28th falls on a Tuesday, the 2nd a Sunday. Is that likely to be the busy time again this year? Thanks!
