Accommodation in Hiraizumi (Tohoku)

Does anyone know anywhere lovely (and well priced) to stay in Hiraizumi (in Tohoku)?

We�fd be driving from Morioka and could drive on down to Sendai if necessary but it would be better to stay the night in Hiraizumi and go out to Geibikei Gorge in the morning before moving on.

A minshuku for two people for about 8-9,000Yen room only would be good.
We can't read the Japanese websites, so a recommendation would be good.

You can stay in Ichinoseki where there is a Toyoko Inn.Double room A7035Yen Double/twin 8190yen (both with breakfast included). It is very nice business hotel.

Thanks, we do love the Toyoko Inn chain - in fact we are staying in them for 90% of this trip. They always seem to work out the best/cheapest option, especially in cities, and now that we are members there are so many discounts!
BUT - we would like a minshuku or ryokan sometimes (for a more Japanese experience) and thought this might be the area to do it again, so if someone knows a comfy minshuku in Hiraizumi or Ichinoseki that would be great!

Shirayama Ryokan 139-8 Shirayama Hiraizumi, Hiraizumi-cho, Nishiiwai-gun, Iwate Prefecture 029-4102, Japan was a very nice place for my stay in 2003. Friendly hosts, excellent food.
