Hatcho dejima

I will stay at Minshuku Shirakaba on 23 October 2010 and I will have trekking from Minshuku Shirakaba to Italian Embassy and Hatcho dejima. What do you think about the autumn leaves on 23 October. Is it at peak of color change ?

And one more question.
I really want to take picture of Hatcho dejima from view point at Hangetsuyama. Can I walk from my trekking rout to the view point ?

Yes, around that time it is usually very good. But it varies a little bit from year to year. It would have been good timing last year, as seen in the following report:

Now I think I will have trekking from Hacchodejima - Italia Embassy - Minshuku Shirakaba(my ryokan). I will wake up early in the morning around 05:00am and start to walk to Hacchodejima. Then trekking back from Hacchodejima to Minshuku Shirakaba.

I really want to reach Hacchodejima so early. Can I go there by taxi ?

After back from Hacchodejima, I think I will have A-Course(60 min) ferry boat trip around Chuzenjiko. Studying from the link you gave me, It seems like the beautiful color change can be seen from ferry boat.

And then if I have enough time, I will go to Ryuzu waterfall by bus to take some picture there.

What do you think.

By taxi you can get as far as the Italian embassy. Or to the parking lot near the Hangetsuyama observatory.

By the way, I am not familiar with the your minshuku and its location.

It's located near Nikko Lakeside hotel. 10 minutes walk from Chuzenjiko Onsen bus stop.
I will stay overnight at Minshuku Shirakaba on 23 October. I hope the weather is fine on 23 October.
