Kiddy Land closed?

Can anyone recommend a good place for the kids to get their Ponyo/Totoro/Hello Kitty/Godzilla fix.

Yamashiroya in Ueno has some Ghibli stuff, not sure about Godzilla though, but since you're not going to Tokyo that's not much help... A google search on Ghibli stores will give you plenty of addresses for that.

There's a Kiddy Land in Osaka as well.

I found out today that there is a smaller Kiddy Land near the closed one! It's in Cat Street, just pass the closed Kiddy Land and it's the first street on your right :) they have only 3 floors but still, it's better than none ;) Apparently they opened it on the 17th...

If you are going to Osaka or Kyoto there is a Kiddy land under the station at Hirakatashi, Keihan line. You'll have no trouble finding Ghibli stuff almost anywhere - maybe DenDen Town Osaka for Godjira?
