Osaka to Hakone 2010/9/24 10:48
Hi, I need advise on the following route:
Should I do a Osaka-Hakone-Tokyo route or a Osaka-Tokyo-Hakone-Tokyo route?

I am travelling with 2 kids of 3 and 1. Have 2 luggages and a stroller. Need to find an easy, not too much hassler way to travel with the family.

If you travel by shinkansen and leave from Shinosaka Station, you will only make one transfer and that would be at Odawara where you would transfer to the Hakone Tozan Railway. You would have to do this anyway even if you went to Tokyo/Yokohama first.

It is a fairly easy transfer at Odawara. Just go up the stairs, make a left at the first set of stairs going down (not shinkansen tracks) and make a right at the bottom of the stairs. The Hakone Tozan platform is on your right at the end.
