Small shrines festivals (Matsuri)

Hello. I was just wondering. I'll be going to japan from october 1 to november 16. And I'd like to attend at least one festival, even if it's the smallest one. I know that the Kyoto festival is held on october, unfortunately I won't be able to attend those dates. So I wanted to know if there is a way to know when small shrines will be realizing a festival I could attent to? Also I'd like to know how much does a yukata costs.
Thanks in advance for the information.

It depends on where you intend to visit. And unfortunately yukata is only for the festivals held in summer - October/November it will be too cold for wearing yukata.

I will be in Tokyo most of the time. So, is there a war to know when the shrines will held a festival. Like the ones in Ueno, or any other small shrine?
