Gundam Staue in Shizuoka

Hi all, need some help.

Is the gundam still on display?

What else is there around the area? I understand that there is a hobby centre nearby? What is it about?

Is it worthwhile to travel all the way to Bandai Museum? I'm only interested to see Gundam or Macross Frontier stuff.

I can't help with the other questions, as I've not been to Shizuoka.

So the robot will be gone from 11 jan?? Oh dear, somebody please help me with the date its leaving, was planning to see it on the 15th of jan.

I am curious about this as well. Seeing the Gundam prior to it coming down at the end of the month was one of the motivators behind the trip to Japan that my girlfriend and I have planned.

We're currently slated to arrive at Narita on the 21st. We're both spending lots of time sifting through the news trying to figure out if we should cancel/postpone. The time sensitive things on our itinerary are the Gundam, hanami, and TIAF/ACE.

I'd love to hear and update as to how the Gundam is doing.
