Chichibu Night Festival back to Tokyo

hi,

i would really like to go to this festival however ideally i like to be back in tokyo that night.

i'm commuting my trains and when i was using Hyperdia to roughly plan the trip back because it is so late at night (leaving the fes roughly 11pm) it will take roughly 7hours to get back, (main bc train timetable do not line up)

is this accurate? will there be additional trains because it is a festival?

U can travel to/from Chichibu from Ikebukuro, Tokyo via Seibu railways :

It is a private railway, so not valid with JR rail pass.

Seems the last train to Ikebukuro is around 9:30pm. There maybe special late departure trains for the festival.

The last train from Seibu-chichibu station seems to be around 9 to 10pm. But they may have special late departure for the festival.
