6 days tokyo 2010/10/7 15:02
Hi,

I be arriving on 9 Sep-15 Sep in Tokyo(Narita).Im still trying to find place to stay in Tokyo, however i like to ask what kind of transportation pass should i be getting for my duration of stay.

I guess im only likely to have side trips to Hakone and Yokohama, and as my previous research tells me getting a 7 day JR pass wont be worth as im not really travelling out of Tokyo.

Should i get the Suica & NEX package round trip? I feel JR lines is more easy for me to travel as the other time im in Tokyo using a JR pass and im able to get to most places i want easily but not too sure about the metro/private lines and there isnt any JR metro pass for 6days and is which is more worth it? What would you recommend? Thanks in advance :)

Yes, get the NEX Suica deal. Suica covers virtually all public transport in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Remember that it is a "pay as you go" card, not a pass, and that you'll need to top it up:

For Hakone:
