Kansai Airport to Hotel Universal Port

We need to get from Kansai Airport to Universal Port Hotel after we arrive at 9pm on 8th Dec. As we are having 3 children with luggage, I would like to find out whether the train transfer would be difficult.

If I take JR Airport Rapid and transfer at Nishikujo, are the trains at the same station platform and the tracks are opposite to each other?

Nishikujo station is equipped with 4 platforms(1,2,3,4) and 2 and 3 share the same track. Airport Rapid uses platform 1 or 2(3) and trains to USJ use platform 2(3) or 4. Even when you arrive at 1 and depart from 4, you can walk across the train from 2 to 3.
