Arashiyama Hanatorou 2010

Would anyone know for sure when exactly will Arashiyama Hanatorou 2010 start? I read in Kyoto Travel Guide that it starts on Dec 11th (http://www.kyoto.travel/2009/11/arashiyama-hanatoro.html).
However, on the Kyoto Hanatorou Promotion Council website it says Arashiyama Hanatorou will start on Dec 10th (http://www.hanatouro.jp/e/arashiyama/index.html).
JNTO also states the commencement date as Dec 10th (http://www.jnto.org.au/tips_detail.php?id=8)
I really hope it starts Dec 10th since being a friday hopefully it won't be as crowded as a Saturday to visit Arashiyama.
