Tobu line to Nikko

Dear all, I just got the World Heritage Pass for Nikko on 31 Dec 2010. However, my friend who bought this ticket for me didn't book a seat on the train. I've no idea how the train looks like.
Do they have non-reserved car or not? Or we need to book the seat in advance for going on that period?
If the train is full, can we stand on the tobu line?
Thank you very much for your help

Basics are here: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3805.htmlDo they have non-reserved car or not?Rapid trains (fully covered by the World Heritage Pass) are fully non-reserved. Seat reservations are not possible. Limited express trains (require a surcharge) are fully reserved. Seat reservations are mandatory. If you want to make a reservation for a limited express train, you have to do so before boarding. If the train is not full, you can do so just on the day of travel or up to one month in advance. I also believe that the English version Tobu website allows for online reservations. If the train is full, can we stand on the tobu line?Yes.

Thank you very much again Uji. So I think i can just take the normal one and try to line up early to be able to catch the train.
