April in Tokyo-Aomori, Hokkaido in April 2010/12/2 23:39
Hi,

My sis & I are planning for a trip to Japan coming April. But the schedule is rather a mess...

11Apr-12Apr - Disneyland
12Apr - Tokyo (is there any ideal place to get a haircut & quick shopping?)
13Apr - Board the Tohoku Line on the earliest train. Head to Hirosaki for Cherry Blossom viewing, but is there any other places we should visit along the trip? We're planning to head to Hakodate later the day but not sure is it possible or would be too rush?
14th Apr- Hakodate, Cherry Blossom viewing & Mt Hakodate at night. Is there anywhere nice to visit? Also any recommendation for hotel? I was hoping to find one with Japanese dinner & onsen but it seem the traditional Hotel are all so FAR away from town... sobs.. we're worried of transportation since we're travelling Japan the 1st time.
15th - Head to Furano.
16th - Head back to Sapporo in the afternoon.
17th - Go to Otaru early morning, day trip.
18th - Stay in Sapporo, but recommendation?
18th - Night. Head back to Tokyo.
19the - Tokyo
20-22 - Mt.Fuji, Stay in either Osaka or Kyoto
23-25 - Check-in Tokyo, Gunma(day trip), Strawberry field, Shopping.
26th - Sayoonara~~

Actually, i thought the 14-18Apr are too rush.. I was hoping for a more relax slow trip in Hokkaido, but the time seem so pack :s
Anyone have advise on our route? we're doing a 16day trip, as long as its within 16days its ok.

Thanks~

I am a boy who is 18-year-old Japanese high school student.
Hakodate is nice town!
The night view from Mt.Hakodate is very nice!
It will stay in your mind for a long time.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer your other questions. X(

Tokyo (is there any ideal place to get a haircut & quick shopping?)

There is a haircut place that does 10 minute haircuts for 1000 yen. They have branches all over Tokyo:

And quick shopping is also possible all over Tokyo.

13Apr - Board the Tohoku Line on the earliest train. Head to Hirosaki for Cherry Blossom viewing

April 13 is way too early for cherry blossoms in Hirosaki!

We're planning to head to Hakodate later the day but not sure is it possible or would be too rush?

Any further stop besides Hirosaki would cause a rush.

14th Apr- Hakodate, Cherry Blossom viewing

April 14 is way too early for cherry blossoms in Hakodate!

Anyone have advise on our route? we're doing a 16day trip, as long as its within 16days its ok.

If you want to see cherry blossoms, you have to make changes:

Also, I recommend to consider flying from Hokkaido to Osaka as follows:

Hakodate - Sapporo/Otaru - Furano - (air from Asahikawa Airport) - Osaka

Hi,

cozacchi - May I know approximately what is the sunset time in Hakodate/ Hokkaido in April? Ty.

Uji - Ty for the advise, yes I'm afraid you're right. With my current schedule, I might not be able to see any ''Cherry Blossom'' At ALL!

Now, trying to work out my schedule D:
