Zao weather during end Mar

I am planning a 2d1n trip from Tokyo to Yamagata Zao Osen on 27 to 28 Mar. Some questions please help.
1) How is the weather during end of Mar?
2) Any more snow? Shld I be staying at Zao osen overnight?
3) On 28 Mar, way back to Tokyo thought of stopping over at Yonezawa for half a day trip. Any suggestion of where to visit.

1) How is the weather during end of Mar? The information says that you can go skiing till beginning of April. But it is too early to answer for this question. Because It depends how much snow would be last in March. Please check the weather news before you go to Zao. 2) Any more snow? Shld I be staying at Zao osen overnight? Yeah, you should stay at Zao onsen after skiing. 3) On 28 Mar, way back to Tokyo thought of stopping over at Yonezawa for half a day trip. Any suggestion of where to visit. You should take a bus or a taxi to see Uesugi shrine, Uesugi museum,and Sengoku no mori to wear Samurai armor. Some Samurais will be welcoming you. Oh don7t forget Yonezawa beef.
