The order Kyoto-Takayama-Kanazawa-Tokyo is not optimal. Kyoto-Kanazawa-Takayama-Tokyo would be much more elegant.
But maybe you try to avoid the Takayama Festival? Or do the order because of the cherry blossoms?

The reason is simple, really :) i couldnt find a ryokan where i could stay during those dates, so i switched Takayama-Kanazawa, its not ideal but i couldnt see a way around it (well i could if i would stay at a hotel but i dont want to do that)
My travel plans my be cancel due to the situation in Japan, but ill wait a week to see what will happen.
