Use of Sanyo Area Pass for Tottori?

I know a lot of people posted questions about how to use this pass...

I was hoping to use it for a 4 day stint starting in Hiroshima...

Day 1 - Use it to take Miyajima Ferry for a day trip.
Day 2 - Hiroshima to Okayama
Day 3 - Okayama to Tottori
Day 4 - Tottori to Osaka

My main concern is that I wouldn't be able to use the pass to get to/from Tottori & have to pay extra fees. I don't think most people include Tottori on itineraries for their first trip to Japan and it isn't a major city, so I don't see it on the maps/whatever.

You are correct that the Sanyo Pass is not valid on trains to Tottori. Only along the Sanyo Line and Sanyo Shinkansen.
