Green tea field with Mt. Fuji view 2011/8/22 14:42
I'm interested in visiting green tea plantation in shizuoka with Mt. Fuji view
but how to go there and how long does it take ? (starting from Shizuoka Statation)

If you start from Shizuoka Station, the tea fields on the eastern slopes of Nihondaira are very nice with a view of the mountain in the background when visibility is good. You can see a picture of them here:

You can't enter the fields, though. Just view them from the road.

Nihondaira is a 35 minute city bus ride from Shizuoka Station:
