I've reserved seating for this years Jidai Matsuri.
Does anyone know how long the event lasts (as in what time it starts and finishes).
I believe if it rains the festival is moved to the next day (23rd). What happends if it rains both days?
And is there anywhere I can confirm if it will be held on the day?

What happends if it rains both days?I am not sure. But it seems it has never happened before in the history of the festival that it was postponed to the 23rd and not held on the 23rd. And is there anywhere I can confirm if it will be held on the day?The Kyoto information office and hotel receptionist should be able to tell you or contact a person who can.
