Melancolic HARUHI is said to be of KOBE city west Japan.
K-on z opening animation are from Kyoto.
At least there were 2 shots. One is from KYO-TO ZO--KEI DAIGAKU mae another is of DEMACHI YANAGI delta park.
Meanwhile on Kanto plain there must be a shrine animated on lucky-star or RAKISUTA.
I heard it is somewhere in Saitama prefecture.
