When does Inuyama Festival take place 2012?

The Inuyama festival takes place every year on the first weekend in April. However, this year is a bit confusing, because the first weekend could be either March 31-April 1 or April 7-8. I have spent a lot of time on the Internet trying to find some information. So which weekend is it? Help me out anyone, please!
