Yokohama Chinatown at night 2012/2/5 01:33
Is Chinatown open at late evening to night time especially food outlets? I am thinking that I will visit Yokohama in my way back to Tokyo from Kamakura.
I will visit Kamakura in the afternoon and probably take JR Shonan-Shinjuku at 1708, so reach Yokohama at 1732,
I would like taste Chinese local delights there and watch night views in Yokohama before heading back to Tokyo , welcome suggestions on food and nice night view spots, preferably from ground. Thanks

Chinatown is a dining destination. Consequently, all restaurants are open for dinner.

I bet upto 9:30pm they take those who hope to taste their dishes.

At least my memories tells that I taste some cuisine around 8pm.

There is a nice view of Minato Mira from the Akarenga (red brick warehouses). Its supposedly best at night after the Akarenga closes and they turn off the lights. There's also some great views shown on this page:
