Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko 2012/6/5 11:57
May I know what are the difference between "Arima & Rokko 1-day Pass" and "Rokko Arima Katamichi Joshaken"

Are both of them still available? As from the below website, it shows "Saturday 10th April ~ Sunday 26th December 2010"
http://www.feel-kobe.jp/_en/profile/traffic_service/#05

If I'm intending to visit Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko, is "Arima & Rokko 1-day Pass" a better option for me?

The "Arima & Rokko 1-day Pass" is explained here:

The "Rokko Arima Katamichi Joshaken", in contrast provides just a one way trip between Kobe and Arima via Mount Rokko.

If I'm intending to visit Arima Onsen and Mount Rokko, is "Arima & Rokko 1-day Pass" a better option for me?

It depends on the details of your itinerary.

Hi Uji,

I intend to visit Arima Onsen from Sannomiya. Taking the subway to Tanigami and change to Shintetsu Railway to Arima Onsen.

From Arima Onsen, I intend to take the Rokko Arima Ropeway to Mount Rokko. Then Rokko Cable car down.

From your link provided, it shows that all these transport is covered regardless of starting point? Am I correct?

Also, from the below link, the pass includes a entry to Onsen. Is that true?
Is this the same pass?

Thank you!

Hi Uji,

In addition, do you know which pass will be wiser for me to take if I'm coming from Kyoto in the morning and then leaving in the night to Osaka.

From the below thread, it seems like there is a pass which will be more cost effective.

Will the "Hankyu Arima Rokko Shuyu Pass" provide a wiser option? Do it cover Kyoto to Sannomiya and then to Osaka trip?

Many thanks in advance!

Yes.

Yes, you get admission to either the Kin no yu or Gin no you in Arima:

Yes.

In that case the Hankyu version of the pass would be very good value.

Uji-san,

Thank you for your reply.

Sorry but I have another question.

If I get the Hankyu Arima Rokko Pass at 2500, does it allow me to use the Hankyu Line "unlimitedly" in a day?

My trip will be in this way:
Kawaramachi to Rokko
Sannomiya to Ikeda
Ikeda to Namba
All using Hankyu Railways.

Thank you in advance!
