I have been looking at bus sites for Kyoto and the 63 bus is not on these sites. Does anyone know if it still goes to Kokedera/Saihoji?

Yes, Kyoto Bus 63 runs between Shijo-Kawaramachi and Kokedera via Arashiyama. It requires almost an hour for the one way trip from Shijo-Kawaramachi. About 10 minutes from Arashiyama. It operates roughly every 15 minutes. It is not recommended to takes this bus all the way from central Kyoto.
