Kirishima Fire Festival in November?

I will be visiting the Kirishima area in November and have seen information about a Fire Festival that is held up in the mountains at Takachiho-gawara. Has anyone else experienced this festival?

I am unsure as to which date this will actually occur in 2012, as one website says 10th Nov and another says 11th Nov.

Can anyone give me more information about this festival?

Tenson-Karin Fire Festival is held annually on Nov 10.

Thank you for the information. I had found one of those pages, but as I cannot read kanji I wasn't able to translate it. Now just hope we can find the right place when we drive up into the mountains! :)
