I would like to get to Tsukiji but NOT for the auction, I just want to see all the vendors selling the different fish. From the Japan-Guide info it says it opens at 9am.
How long does it take to get there from shinjuku?
Are there other things to see before 9am?
would a Sushi breakfast be something to consider?

Are there other things to see before 9am?Yes, the outer market is open from around 5am. (explained at the link above) would a Sushi breakfast be something to consider? Yes, prepare to queue up to 1-2 hours if you wish to eat at one of the popular places like Daiwa Sushi or Sushidai. Enjoy your trip!
