Visit Sapporo - Is 5 night too long?

We are thinking to buy airfares for family from Osaka to Sapporo between 27 till 2 of January. As my 2 kids love to see and play with snow ( not for skiing ). Is 5 nights in Sapporo too long? Thank you.

Sapporo alone does not have enough to offer to keep the average tourist busy for five days, but there are various possible side trips that justify staying in Sapporo for such a time period.
Among the side trip destinations are multiple hot spring resorts, multiple snow resorts and the city of Otaru.

5 nights is indeed too long, unless during the Yuki Matsuri in Feb.
BTW, will you fly with Peach Air?
