Koyama-ike pond 2012/8/29 22:05
Hello all,
To go to the Koyama-Ike pond, is it easier from the Tottori Airport or Tottori Station.

Is Koyama-Ike Pond an island?

thanks.

By car or taxi, it is closer to the airport than the city center. By bus, there is a direct bus from Tottori Station, but I don't think there is any direct connection from the airport.

No, it is a pond, although it feels more like a lake. It has multiple islands. Aoshima is the largest, accessible via a bridge from the land.

Thanks Uji for your info.

From Hyperdia.com, it says that there is the JR San-in Line from Tottori station to Koyama. Does this get you to the Koyama-ike pond?

Another question, Uji.

Is the Aoshima you are referring the same as the one in Miyazaki?

thanks again.

The location of the station can be seen here:

It is written with the same kanji, but obviously it is in a completely different location. Miyazaki is nowhere near Tottori:
