Yes, it is available around the year, and I have not heard of plans to discontinue it. Have you?

Thanks Uji. We checked with our local JTB and they thought it could have been discontinued and told us to find out further.

I cannot find any information that hints towards the pass being discontinued. I think you can safely assume that it will be available this winter.

This should probably be in a new thread instead of added to this one.

Would like to know how long it takes us from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo Grand Hotel.

http://www.grand1934.com/english/access/index.html

"From New Chitose Airport
About 36 minutes ride by JR line to JR Sapporo Station"

"Nearest Station
About 8 minutes walk from JR Sapporo Station"

Can we catch a shuttle bus from the airport??

http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5306.html

"Sapporo's New Chitose Airport is located about 30 kilometers south of the city center. By frequently departing trains, it takes about 35 minutes and costs 1,040 yen into central Sapporo."

http://www.new-chitose-airport.jp/en/access/bus/

"Hokkaido Chuo Bus JAL Arrival Lobby ATEL.(0123) 46-5666 Sapporo: 70 min (1,000)"

By the looks of it this bus will stop at the Grand Hotel.

Enjoy your trip!
