I am travelling between 1st of Jan to 14th of jan. I be staying in Shinjuku follow by osaka, lake kawaguchiko then back to tokyo on 10th of Jan, so I have no ideal where to stay for my remaining days in tokyo.
Any advise & comments?Prefer cheap budget per room less than USD 130.

Pls advise where should I stay?Did you click on the hotel/area link I provided? To be safe to reach airport on time ?What time is your flight? How many hours before do you wish to be there (usually two hours before flight)? Access to Haneda is explained here:- http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2430.htmlIf i want travel to ginza , asakusa Most of Tokyo is pretty easy to access from anywhere within the Yamanote Line circle. For the two you mentioned Ueno would be fine, as would Asakusa, as would almost any other area as explained in the link above.

Hi,
I am leaving on 0030am on 14th Jan.
Actually I know they are pretty near to to haneda airport. I just wonder where to stay would be best to travel for my remaining days.Because I wish to cut down on travelling time & transport cost. By the way , I will be back from hakone area .

The city of Tokyo is as small as the whole territory of Singapore.
No matter where you are in Tokyo in the morning on Jan 13, you have time to get around the city whole day and still can reach Haneda Airport by 10PM.
South Tokyo is closer to HND, but your hotel does not have to be there. Any hotel in Tokyo is among your choice.

Actually I know they are pretty near to to haneda airport. I just wonder where to stay would be best to travel for my remaining days.Given your list Ueno or Asakusa or Ginza fit nicely enough. Because I wish to cut down on travelling time & transport cost.Transportation in Tokyo http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2017.htmlEven going "across town" from Ueno to Shibuya only costs 190 yen. You can also look up your fares yourself on hyperdia http://www.hyperdia.com/By the way , I will be back from hakone area . I thought we already established you are going to Kawaguchiko not Hakone?!??

I have shortlisted a few places, I think of staying near haneda airport . Either OTA area, Taito , Shinjuku again or Shinagawa for my last choice.
By the way, during that period , do I need to wear winter coat whole day?
Can I wear normal bermudas with simple jackets etc?

Well, I'm from Singapore...
All I can say is that I was in Japan last April. My dad was quite a big size person and could not bear the wind sometimes while wearing jeans and coat. So I don't think your Bermudas and jacket could help anything, unless you wearing 5 layers of clothes. Maybe some thermal clothing could help if you do not want winter coat. The temperature will be around 2-10 Celsius. If you can bear in this temperature for long day wearing those clothes then I guess you are welcome then. :)
Enjoy your trip
