Yamanashi Shosenkyo Gorge Bus Stop 2012/11/2 10:23
I'm planning to go to Yamanashi Shosenkyo Gorge and ropeway this month.

I was wondering which bus stop should I get off at to best enjoy the trip.
- Shosenkyo-guchi
- Shosenkyo Greenline
- Shosenkyo Taki Ue

I don't mind walking uphill or downhill, I just want to take fully enjoy the few hours of daylight we have in autumn.

Thanks in advance.

See whether the following thread in another forum is of use. Note that post no. 5 has information on the bus stops.

I thanks to everybody. I went to Shosenkyo Gorge last weekend.

The map helped me decide to got off at Shosenkyo-guchi and walked up to the ropeway station, which is right in front of the Shosenkyo Taki Ue bus stop.

Shosenkyo Gorge is a beautiful place, easy to walk, with breathtaking views, recommended to those who want to spend a day inmerse in nature.

Please bear in mind that the bus ride back to Kofu station (one per hour on weedends) is very crowded in autumn. But despite that, Shosenkyo Gorge is a place that I will defintely go back to in the near future.
